Blinds in a glazed meeting room fail slowly: slats bend, cords are removed on safety grounds, and within a year the room reads as tired. Switchable glazing removes the mechanism altogether.
On refurbishment floors where the partitions are staying, retrofit smart film gives the same result without taking the glass out or losing the floor to a glazing programme.
